Responding to one of the most frequent CloudVertical user requests, we have just implemented set of features that enable sharing CloudVertical dashboards among multiple users. Now you can easily share any data you want with your team, managers or clients.

If the CFO is asking you about information on current AWS costs – now you can simply add him to your AWS Costs dashboard, and he will be able to view the cost data any time. If you are that CFO – just ask your team to share this dashboard with you, so you won’t have to chase them every time you want to check current months costs or run other cost reports.

To make this possible we have introduced the “Dashboards Overview” as the default screen in our application. Now you can see all the dashboards that you can access (your own and the ones, that were shared with you) in one list. You can jump into every dashboard simply by clicking its title.

You can also click the “Sharing” button on the right to activate the window in which you can manage dashboard sharing options: add and remove users that are able to access selected dashboard.

To share a dashboard with someone, simply type their email into the form at the bottom of sharing window, click ‘Share’ and thats it! The dashboard is now accessible to them in ‘View only’ mode in their own “Dashboards Overview” view. They will also receive an email notification about the new dashboard being shared. If they are not registered users, they will be asked to sign up and as soon as they do it, they will be able to see shared dashboard.
